I’d say I’m proud to be a Filipino. And these two youngsters prove to be my inspiration.
British-Filipino Charlie Green
Charlie Green – the amazing 10-year-old Filipino-British who made it to the semi-finals of Britain’s got talent. He appeared in week 2 of ITV’s Britain’s got talent. What did I say about my previous entry about the hottest british indie-rock band The Filthy Youth? Yep, I love british accent!
Charice Pempenco – the Big Star
She is now known as Charice – her official screen name. She placed third on the Philippine’s TV show “Little Big Star” but in accounting terms she is a premium. Meaning, her “effective value” is way higher than actual as proved by her appearances on SBS, Ellen DeGeneres show, Paul O’Grady Show and Oprah. But her hollywood fame doesn’t end here. It is said that she might do a record for Disney and might actually appear in High School Musical three.
