A New You in 28 Days – Press Launch

A New You Website

Home Page

It definitely is time for a new “me”!  I have been caught up with too much work and stress lately that I have forgotten how to take care of myself.  This new powerful website could just be my only hope for a new direction.

W Planner

PLANNER:

My favorite feature is the planner.  It can predict your cycle and tell you the things you need to prepare for it.  A big helpful feature for me would be the automatic SMS (text messaging) reminder that my period will arrive in 2 days.  This way, I would never be caught off guard when my visitor arrives.

W Planner Day View Edit

DAILY VIEW:

You can also plan and jot down your activities for the day, your mood and your gynecological status for the day.

A New You in 28 Days – Media Launch

A New You in 28 days

Special thanks to Patty Oh for inviting me to this enlightening event.  Indeed, this concept of Modess and Carefree is so unique that this is probably the first online feminine calendar on Asia or even the world! This is also the first event I was in where all other media was there like ABS-CBN, GMA, ETC, Magazine publications like “Working Mom”, “Care” and a whole lot more.  Or, I might have probably attended some before with many media but just didn’t know, you know how “clueless” I am sometimes.

The 28-Day Kit

28 Day Kit

I immediately went to my nearest Watson’s store to check out the price of the kit since they didn’t mention it (I guess) in the launch.  When I arrived at the rack where these kits are displayed, I observed two women having a keen eye on the box.  I think they were initially attracted to the effective packaging of this Kit!  With attraction comes their attention!  They were reading all the stuff that was put around the box which is really helpful since it gives you the utmost idea of what this kit is for.  It aims to train the ladies of proper hygiene, the correct products to use with the help of  the website that would effectively guide the user to a whole new them!

Partners

Every time you purchase the kit, you would get to accumulate points and get rewards from the following partners below.  You could also get rewards once you’re done accomplishing your 28-day Goal!  I love Sebastian’s ice cream and just for 10 points accumulated (1 box purchase = 10 points), you could already get a free scoop!  I think they have more partners and just discover it for yourselves and go to the website now.

New Shop Spots: The Row – EDSA Shangri-la Plaza

New Shop Spots: The Row – EDSA Shangri-la Plaza

shang2-1

Check out the new shopping spot at the EDSA Shangri-la!  The Row is located at Level 5 of the Shangri-la mall!  I always love strolling around the Shangri-la mall because the place is so classy and not-so-crowded.  You can really do a lot of things, shop around many unique boutiques, have my eyes and teeth checked out at the clinics, dine at top restaurants and have my hair done in really nice salons.

The Row houses three of my favorite brands: Freeway, Ensembles and Solo!  It’s an all-stop shop where you can choose almost anything you need for your work, casual clothes, weekend getaway wear, party wear and even men’s wear so that your boyfriends or hubbies can go roam around the store while you work your way through the selection!

Enjoy a stress-free shopping!

Swedish Music

Sharing to my readers my music discovery… Open your ears to some Swedish Music!  In the Philippines, foreign songs from US, UK, Mexico, France, Japan, China, Taiwan and Korea have been becoming recognized.  I have not heard of any Swedish songs on the radio though.

Listen to the Swedish beat, this song is one of my favorites.

Here’s the live performance:

Surfing Big Waves in La Union

Surfing Big Waves in La Union

Big Waves I am not really in that level XD

It’s just the first time that I have seen La Union with these big waves and I am such a trying hard beginner!

The forecast at magicseaweed just showed a really gnarly swell in this area and me and my friends really planned this trip despite the risk of road trippin on some flodded provinces.  Luckily, the storm is leaving Philippines already! I was really looking forward riding some good stuff since I bought a new surf board!

Bonga Schaper 6'10 I had to unpack my board at surfcamp and upload the pictures already.  Thanks to surf camp’s wi-fi!  I had no problem blogging on the go!

Right now I’m just too psyched! but I’m off to another surf em waves in probably about an hour so watch this space for more updates of our surf trip, pictures, reviews, more about my new board and how I would review it… It’s a Southpoint Bonga Schaper 6’10″…  and I’m ready…

Beach Hut Sunblock is made for Candy

Beach Hut Sunblock is made for Candy

THE STORY:

I went surfing for two consecutive weeks and when I got back to the office, my officemate Lush Angel saidHannah!?!  You look like a local already!” … “OMG!  Look at your legs!

… so I looked at it and I was like… “ZOMiGee!!! It’s charcoal!!!”

******FAINTSSSSS******

Before the surf trips, my complexion was darker than last year because of my constant trips to the beach and travels everywhere here in the Philippines and abroad.  After my surf heaven… I got supper tanned… Lying down the my board to catch some awesome waves includes me being grilled like crazy! like wow Hannah is that you??? I can only see your teeth and your eyes one!  T___T

To my every problem, I always find a solution! (Like the one where I have my monthly visitor on while surfing – to post about it soon)

Ah… Protection is bliss!  To every harmful and unexpected things… it is best to have protection always!  Having protection = Peace of mind… Am I right or am I right? It’s a general rule… you always want to be protected… and don’t think about other things because right now I’m just talking about Sunblock and nothing else 😛

But I hate sunblock!  I hate how it smells and I hate the sticky eeeew-y feeling!

My same remorse until I found this Candy!

DSC00338

I seem to be hyper-promoting again am I?  you know me… I don’t promote things and stuff I don’t believe in!

Why I love it:

UVA/UVB – I bought the SPF 75 Beach Hut Sunblock and it’s the highest in the market so far!  With that I don’t have to worry much about me grilling my skin in the sun anymore and focus on finding myself some AWESOME waves!

Sweat-proof – I don’t sweat when I swim or surf 😛 but in case I go hiking or travel to some sun-shiny humid area like my Formula 1 trip in Singapore this September in Singapore, then this would also be really really helpful!

Water-proof – common sense darlings… If it is not water-proof  then what would be the use of the SPF 75?

not messy! – unlike lotions where you need to take time to apply it or else if you put lotion sunblock quickly, you might look like a canvas with wet paint on! YUCKS!

not greasy! – lotions got them many oils and if you touch other people they’d be like “Dude, get out omma way!”

Invisible! – You won’t look like Michael Jackson when you apply this… when you apply regular lotion sunblock… you wood!

tastes… I mean, smells like me! –>CANDY! 😛 but it still smells tropical and beachy… but at least it doesn’t smell like your clubhouse’s pool or chlorine.

The down:

I can’t think of anything except that it’s a bit pricey… >.<  but since it’s liquid and convenient, you use only a small amount per skin area and that means the bottle can be used for long!  Unlike lotion sunblocks, it might look big but if you apply it to your whole body, it would be nearly empty!

So far that’s it!  I will be off surfing again next weekend and now I can focus more on my surfing than my charcoal-ing! 😛

The price for this one is almost PHP 600.  It’s a big bottle.  If that is too expensive for you, you can buy the small ones at around PHP 200.  Contents are small but I bet you can use it many times because it is just really matipid.  Also, the lower SPF ones are cheaper… but still SPF 30s can do fine… as long as you don’t use that when you’re sun-bathing at 12nn 😛
