My Pink Thong – Win FREE Kotex Luxe Special Packs

Hey everyone! So I got some cool giveaways from Kotex and thought I wanted to have some “fun” with them. Kotex appointed me, FlairCandy, to giveaway 15 sample packs of their new Kotex Luxe, the first ultra thin pad that gives you breakthrough fusion technology, a revolutionary combination of dry-net and cotton-like covers to help you get the dryness of net and the softness of cotton on just one pad. No more compromises!

It’s true, I’ve tried it myself. The net really does hold it up.

il_430xN.36465872Well, anyway, I thought, we all spend so much money in nice underwear for ourselves, or for our boyfriends even. So I hate getting them dirty or stainy. I like my underwear the way they are, with nice bright blue colors, with sexy red laces, with cute purple polka dots or whatever. So for this contest, I’m going to pick 15 people, from the comments on this post. All I want you to do is to tell me: What is the color of your favorite pair of underwear. Just the color is fine, though details and descriptions are also welcome, and will probably give you a better chance of winning. (Email me pics if you want too and I’ll post it, EXTRA EXTRA points to that!!!)

Kotex Sanitary Napkin - Kotex Luxe2

So yeah, let’s have some fun! What’s your favorite color of panties that you own? Leave a comment on t his post and I’ll pick my favorite 15 answers to mail the 15 specialsample packs from Kotex! YAY! This contest will expire on Valentines Day, Feb 14 at midnight. Anyone in the Philippines can join even those in the provinces! Hurry and comment now!

Sex on Fire

Last Monday, January 18 2010… some blogger friends and I went to hang at Mag:net to rock our night away!

We don’t usually organize this rockeoke night.  We just text each other if we’re game… then if the majority is free then we’ll rock it like a rockstar!  At this night I was with Carlos, Judd, Mica, Marcelle and a Rockeoke virgin – Benj!

Rockeoke Night

(btw, see!!! I’m wearing jeans again!  That’s the new Jeans I got from the Levi’s Modern Vintage Collection)

Rockeoke Night

Judd is the multitasker of the month… Check out the cam-whoring while singing on stage XD lmfao

First to sing was Judd with ___ ? eh… sorry I forgot the title of the song you sang because I was not so familiar with it T___T

Then they called my name…

Rockeoke Night

It’s my turn!!! … I seriously need to reapply some lipstick T___T

I sang “Sex on Fire” because I wanted to rock it like a rockstar!  My blogger friends were lovely for supporting me and applauding me even if I get out of pitch… love yah gaiz…

Then sang Mica with “Total Eclipse of the Heart” … Man, you should have seen her!  I think she’s a rockeoke virgin as well… and her rockeoke cherry popped just right yeah!  I just realized that I don’t have a picture of Mica singing ‘coz I was recording her in video using her LX3 while she performed… Let’s just wait ’till she uploads the video 😉 *wink* *wink*

Rockeoke Night

After a long nights worth of waiting, finally Carlos’ name was called… he sang “Sweet Child of Mine” and everyone in our group was just doing so well!!!

Rockeoke Night

Next sang Benj and I was really AMAZED like wow!!! This dude’s got some talent! serious! It was his first time on rockeoke yet he sang as if he did this for the past 10 years!  I’m starting to get to know Benj and hanging out with him is just fun… and you’ll see how he’s really into his performances, two thumbs up dude!

Overall, I say the night was just too much fun that it’s kind of “bitin” (potong stim)

Oh well, rockeoke nights are every week so we can just keep coming back.

Why You Should Rethink Wearing Skirts

Why You Should Rethink Wearing Skirts

How many of you have seen me wearing Jeans? Yeah, not a lot huh… in fact I can’t remember the last time I wore jeans.  I think I haven’t worn one in the year 2009.

What is usually my outfit when I go to events? — That’s right… I either wear a skirt and a top  or dresses or shorts… and no I don’t wear bikinis except on pool side events and surfing.  Except for the Singapore Grand Prix I swore I would have wanted to wear bikini while walking around because it was steaming hot!

Why do you think I don’t wear them?

— Because my one whole closet full of jeans by the size 23 and 24 (even 25) don’t fit me anymore **sob sob**

— Jeans don’t fit me perfectly.  I think It’s my big ass and my tiny waist, I used to have a hard time getting the right fit for me.

— I usually wear corporate clothes when I worked on my previous job anymore

Why do I want to ditch my skirts and wear jeans again?

— Because I recently resigned from my job to pursue internet entrepreneurship and marketing (working for myself)… that means, NO MORE CORPORATE CLOTHES!  and what I have noticed lately is that I don’t have anything much casual to wear day-by-day.

— Because I am losing weight and I am planning to lose more weight and go back to the gym and enroll for dance classes again.  If I lose more weight and get fit some more, I’d be stunning in jeans

— Because a guy said I would look *hot* in jeans coz I got a nice booty! 😉

But that’s just me, but really, why wear jeans again?

— Jeans are for everyone! I was just too lazy to buy a bigger size for me and I was just too insecure to admit I gained weight.  If I bought jeans enough to fit me I would still look hot ;).  It doesn’t matter what your body figure is, jeans are so flexible to wear

— Jeans never get out of fashion.  For years they have been in fashion and show no signs of disappearing. They have been reinvented in numerous ways but they are always there, worn by ordinary people, kids, adults and celebrities and Hollywood stars love them!

— There is a perfect jeans for everyone.  (I found mine and I will tell more about it later)

The Spring Summer 2010 Levi’s Modern Vintage Collection

I got invited to a very enlightening event last Monday to witness first hand the launch of Levi’s Modern Vintage Collection for 2010!  The event’s timing was right as I was thinking of wearing jeans again as one of my new year’s resolution.

Levi’s brand launched a new Philippine wide campaign that shows off its indisputable rich archives and asserts its leadership in jeanswear.  Juxtaposing the past with the present, the collection “Modern Vintage”, adeptly connects the brand’s authentic history to the inspiration for its new denim collection.  It also makes a statement about the brand’s relentless drive for innovativeness as the reason for its continued relevance among its consumers.

The only brand that can truly claim to have an illustrious archive, the Levi’s Modern Vintage collection is inspired by exactly that.  This collection shows the ingenious features of Levi’s jeans from yesteryears and have not only been reinterpreted, but incorporated into today’s modern designs.  Vintage on contemporary – this says all there is to say about Levi’s latest offerings.  With luxurious detailing, the Modern Vintage collection features premium rustic fabrics and vintage finishing techniques presented as modern jeans.  The new collection exudes individualism and sexiness, the very personality of Levi’s.

Here’s the video of Levi’s models doing walking the ramp to showcase the new Levi’s Modern Vintage collection:

Wearing Jeans Again

Alas! I tried a new pair of Jeans straight from Levi’s closet!!!  I was torn between sizes because my goal was to lose weight but then as of now, I am not my ideal weight yet.  In the end, I got the pair of jeans that just fit me as of the moment.  I figured I’d just wear belt if indeed I would lose my extra pounds.

Love the Fit!  I actually got the slim cut and the size xx (secret)

Fine, I’ll say, I got the size 26. 25 was okay but it was too tight for my butt… and I had no chance of fitting in a 24 T__T

Luna Bar and Resto Party Launch – the Moonshine Effect

Luna Bar and Resto Party Launch – the Moonshine Effect

It has been a crazy sexy cool start for 2010 for me.  When the new year started, I totally committed myself to do better after my life’s “restart.”  I started the year unemployed to pursue entrepreneurial opportunities on my own and focus more on my blogging and online internet marketing.  During the first week of the year, all I did was to brainstorm and plan out some crazy fun stuff I can do not only for myself but for the online community.  In short, I started the year already “working”.”  Yes, this is my new job…

This time, I’m working with pleasure.  When I had the opportunity to organize an event for the bloggers for the first time I immediately said yes!  After all, I love sharing a part of my lifestyle to everyone.  This event is close to my heart.  I love both parties and good food and this new bar just had it all for me!

Luna Resto Bar Launch

Luna’s Treat – Appetizers

15 bloggers were treated with a feast by Luna Bar and Resto.

Luna Resto Bar Launch

Luna Nachos P220  (USD 4.9 )

They started with serving us the Luna Nachos first.  The Nacho Chips were smothered with chorizo, chili con carne sauce, melted cheese and drizzled with their popular pimiento mayo. This is the best Nachos I have ever tasted in my entire life and I mean that with no exaggeration.  It was so good that it was like gone in seconds.  Man, the bloggers got really hungry 😉  The Nachos are really good for sharing and a nice pulutan too for barkada meet-ups and gatherings.

Luna Resto Bar Launch

Luna Sisig P195 (USD 4.4 )

Next they served us with another appetizing appetizer – Sisig.  What I love about Luna bar is that they accent every dish with a hint of Spanish taste to a Filipino classic.  This sisig is no exception as they put bits of chorizo with the pork meat.  The egg added to the fullness of the flavor.  This is good for sharing as well.

Luna Resto Bar Launch

Luna Bar and Resto

Flaming Chicken Wings P240 (USD 5.4)

The next dish they served us was the flaming (literally) chicken wings!  It’s so crispy on the outside and really tender on the inside.  I love that they can serve it in barbecue sauce which is not spicy because me and majority of my friends can’t tolerate super spicy food.  But, if you love spicy then you might be able to ask the waiter give you the sweet chili sauce instead.  The food is really flexible.

Then came the main courses.  They served us graciously with lovely appetizers and I was craving for rice at that time… good thing they served us the main dishes already.

Luna’s Treat – Main Dishes

Luna Resto Bar Launch

Paella de Carne P200++ (USD 5)

Oh, the rice has come!  The Paella dish can be a meal itself that should be good for 3 even without ordering anything else.  The Paella de Carne is a Spanish baked rice on a cast iron skillet topped with a medley of chicken, pork and chorizo.  It was so good and it satisfied my craving for some flavorful rice.  They also have another kind of Paella (which maybe I will try the next time) and it is called Paella de Mariscos.  This dish is topped with a combination of shrimps, calamari and chorizo.

Lengua Salpicao

Lengua Salpicao P195 (USD 4.4)

They served us with Lengua Salpicao next.  These are bite sized Ox tongue sauteed in garlic and a splash of olive oil.  I am not really a fan of ox tongue but to those who are, I got some great comments from the other bloggers who love Lenguas.  I have never tasted Lengua served in Salpicao style before and if you are a fan of the traditional Lengua cooking in mushroom cream then you must definitely try this Lengua Salpicao.

Picture from FrannyWanny.com

Lengua Estufado P220 (USD 4.9)

Along with the Lengua Salpicao, they served us another alternative recipe for Ox tongue.  Lengua Estufado is braised Ox tongue in red wine sauce, served with your choice of rice.  Still not a fan of Ox tongue but feedbacks from other bloggers are that the red wine sauce is a winner!

Luna’s Treat – Pasta

Paella Pasta

Paella Pasta P240 (USD 5.4)

Pasta in Paella sauce, chorizo sausage, sauteed chicken and grilled shrimps topped with shaved Parmesan and served with toasted bread.  If you just want a quick snack to share with another person then this is good to go.  The flavor is overwhelming and you might want to pair this with a bland dish.

Luna’s Treat – Bar Drinks

Luna Bar and Resto

Chocolate Mint Mojito

I didn’t catch the price of this drink as they served it to us as a surprise.  After our dinner, the bar got packed with people.  The music was up to party mode and it was time to get some drinks.  The Chocolate Mint Mojito’s timing was perfect.  It has a unique flavor with your traditional mojito mixed with some choc nut and mint leaves.

Apart from the Chocolate Mint Mojito, they also served us Screw Driver, Weng Weng and Tequila Sunrise.  They have also a wide selection of local and foreign beers if you are a beer jolly person.  This part of the night is sure the favorite of our very own Tangera (Faith) of tanggera.com and our party sexy, FunnySexy Kring!

Luna by Day

Luna Restaurant is open by day and I was witness to the feast they shared with us and it was really satisfying!  Luna’s signature dishes mixes traditional Filipino food with Spanish accent.  I would definitely come back with some other bloggers to get better pictures with day lighting.  (It was a bit hard to take a super nice picture using night light.) There are really no existing clubs along Wilson street and Luna is one venue where you can hang out and have good time with friends, officemates and family.  Overall, the food is good and the location is okay as well.

The only problem you might have when dining here is parking as there are only 2 parking slots allotted for Luna customers in front of the bar.  You can however park at Larry’s and it would require you to walk a few meters.  Don’t worry about safety of the car because there is also a guard on the parking lot.   It’s good for your health trust me 😉

Wild Child

Wild Child

Today, I went home from a friend’s place and I was SUPER HUNGRY I could eat a hippopotamus!!!  My tummy is such an acidic b*tch that I chew on Tums more than I should (ok I’m kidding, at least I think I just take enough).  Therefore, sometimes I really have to eat to stop it from b*tchin!  So, I bought food from McDonald’s  – nuggets and fries … no drinks! and what time I bought those snacks you ask – 12 midnight!

Now, you understand why if I frequently do overtime at work, I get fat… that is because the more hours I am awake, the more I get hungry — the more I eat!  Otherwise, I will just sleep early, wake up late… and my tummy can just rest from b*tchin’ me.

Wow, my introduction is quite long and detailed that it would make you wonder “Why did she entitled this post *Wild Child*?”  Yeah I have to, otherwise you will doubt that I’m already 24 (YESSSSS… 24!!! **FAINTS**).

You see, “Wild Child” is a movie… movie for teenagers, for “little princesses”, for high school and elementary students, kids who watch movies of Emma Roberts!

I arrived home and turned on the TV and switched to HBO.  I was just in time as I saw the “earth revolving” (universal studios logo)… “Great, let’s see what this movie is…”  Then the title showed “Wild Child” — I was like… “What is this?  Wild Things for teenagers or something?”

That’s **Wild Child** — the teenybopper movie! not some p0rn!  You perv, you must have thought **Wild Things** – nope, it’s Wild Child.

Anyway, I was supposed to watch the movie until I finish eating my food but then I watched through the whole movie!  The storyline was nice, it’s something I would recommend my little sister Snow to watch.

Poppy (Emma Watson) was sent to an all-girls school in England with a very conservative and strict environment.  I can just relate to that!!! Well, not the England part (I wish) but the studying in a conservative all-girls school!

Well… It made me miss my high school days…

Look at those super slim arms of mine!!!  (From Left: Monica, Pooja, myself, Angeline, Socorro and Janina)

We looked like we were about to enter a convent huh…

Anyway, I am proud to be a product of St. Scholastica’s Academy – Bacolod (SSA)!  SSA is also known to be the acronym of “School for Sexy Angels” (we just made that up to sound hot lol but we really did not need to because we already sizzle).  I am proud of my batchmates as well.  Now, you will find each and every one of us scattered all around the world doing some awesome job.  Of course, we are saddened because one of our batchmates went to become a true Angel already.

Those were the days… and fyi, back in high school *I have never been kissed* 😉 so pure so innocent… you kinda miss it sometimes ^_^ all I had were *crushes* lol… those days when you are naive… you have no money and you rely on your allowance from your parents… but that’s all you ever cared about… that and school… right now, when you’re working, you’d have to look out for yourself.  You have more responsibilities.

If only I was already blogging then, maybe I could have preserved all our dance routines from cheerleading, folk dances and tons of dance intermission numbers for the school.

Well then… time to say Ciaoz and wan an everyone! It’s already 2:30 am and I need some serious beauty sleep…

Wanna know a really interesting secret during my high school days? … After school, we have cheerleading practice then… ZzzzzzZZzzzz  (X_x) ZZzzzzZzzzzz
