Aloha Boardsports: Press Con with International Skaters

Longboard skateboarding is one of my recent hobbies. Vince taught me well ^_^ But, I still have not fully enjoyed skateboarding to the max… My ideal longboard skateboarding session is just a chill one, on an alley beside a beach, and I’m wearing my bikini…

But… good luck doing it here in the Philippines! That means, I gotta do it somewhere out there.

Anyway… I am so lucky enough to meet the International Pro Skaters! Armed with sick moves using their boards, Aloha Boardsports champion skaters from all over the world invaded Manila!

Among these star skaters is 15-yea-old Loui Lopez, a California-based boarder who is making a name for himself early in his career. He first started skateboarding at the tender age of 6. He is a very cool person and very charming as well for a teenage skater!

Loui did some sick moves on the ramp with his idol, David Gonzales… David is a Columbian skater who joined the Flip Skate team in 2008. Here’s what I have to say about David – cute!!! While he was gracing the ramp with his slick moves, he stopped by in front of me and took a sip on my cold cherry cherry vodka – now that was hot!

Luan de Oliveria was also there. He’s a Volcom and Tampa Am competitions’ multi – awarded champ. He also joined the line up with the European pro-skater Willow, who has likewise been featured in numerous skating videos.

And of course – the skater god Mark Appleyard wowed us all in the ramp as he showed his toughest moves. I don’t know what they were called… I’m pretty sure they have a specific term for those stunts… I think they were backside smith grind, but anyway, just wait for the video to be uploaded soon to see for yourself. Mark is a two-time Transworld Skateboarding Skater of the Year and garnered more awards under his belt.
