TRAVEL NOW: Travel Magazine Launches Photo Exhibit

It’s good to be back and attending all these events that fit my blog again. Perks of having a flexi-time work!

It was great to see familiar faces again! What’s more awesome is the passion we all shared together during this event – TRAVEL.

For those of you who are not familiar of TRAVEL Magazine yet, it is a lifestyle publication for passionate adventurers. They just launched the TRAVEL NOW campaign with a 4-day photo exhibit at the Fashion Walk of Greenbelt 5. The exhibit runs from january 24-27, 2013. The exhibit features local and foreign bucket list destinations and sights with quotes from Pinoy celebrity advocates on why they travel.

Yesterday, they opened the exhibit inviting passionate travelers, contributers and writers of TRAVEL magazine. TRAVEL mag is also an official supporter and partner of #itsmorefuninthephilippines campaign by the Tourism Promotions Board of the Department of Tourism.

Places to look forward to

In the spirit of adventure, TRAVEL Magazine’s Editor-in-Chief Monique Buensalido and Associate Publisher Dazzle Ng announced that TRAVEL will be hosting tours this year to Batanes, Bhutan, Bali and Kenya.

Too be honest, these are places I haven’t been yet. The number one on my list is Batanes. You just really need a good timing to plan your trip there, just like the trip we had to Mt. Everest, and time isn’t on my side yet.

The campaign video was launched, with Pinoy TRAVEL ambassadors sharing their favorite travel experiences/destinations, why they love to travel, and why everyone should TRAVEL NOW. Travel raffle prizes (2 tickets to Batanes via SkyJet Air, an NSP Shortboard, a Spa Package c/o Vietura by Sofitel worth Php 10,000, and an American Tourister hand-carry luggage), were given away to lucky guests. #TRAVELNOW #itsmorefuninthephilippines

Photo exhibit destinations: Cappadocia (Turkey), Marrakesh (Morocco), Lombok (Indonesia), Chiang Mai (Thailand), Boracay (Philippines), Camarines Sur (Philippines), Pampanga (Philippines), Batanes (Philippines), Catanduanes, (Philippines), Maldives.

If you’re a traveler at heart, you might want to grab your own copies of TRAVEL magazine. I’m impressed with their content so far (they covered an article about Antartica!!!). They explore a fresh wide range of options for travel, taking into consideration different interests and budget.
