Blood Test

I had to go to the Hospital for my general check-up today. As usual, urine and blood tests. I also wanted to check my uric acid ‘coz my bones and joints feel weird so I had to fast after 12 midnight. I didn’t know that you can’t drink even water so the nurse said I can have other tests but not the uric acid one.

What a waste, I shouldn’t have fasted. Anyway, it was 10:30 am and I was starving @_@

Time to get my blood sample…

They took my left arm and attempted to suck blood out of it. I felt the pain as the needle penetrated my delicate skin. I usually look away so that I won’t be able to see blood sucked out of my skin, but then I can also feel that the needle was being maneuvered around. To my fear, I looked… Unfortunately, my left arm wouldn’t gush out some blood.

They had to re-do the process and managed to secure a blood sample using my right arm. It stung but I was okay and I was very brave.

I managed to have my blood test without crying yaye!

A few moments later, I started to get dizzy! I had the urge to vomit as well. I worked my way to the toilet but as I walked down the hallway, I saw dark circles and I felt the world spin…

I managed to the bathroom and tried to puke but nothing came out because my stomach was empty.

Next thing I know, my hero Vince was calling out my name outside the toilet.

He escorted me to the nearest restaurant (in this case KFC lol) and we ate there and I felt better πŸ˜€ It didn’t help though that he was giggling at me while we were walking because people were looking at us and they were probably wondering what surgery I underwent lol.

Food is my fuel, that’s all I can say πŸ˜› Goodnight y’alls…

  1. Hi Hannah! Hope the results were okay. Yes, kahit tubig bawal pag magpapa urine test. Ako sanay na sa mga ganyan pero everytime iinjectionan eh palagi pa din sa malayo ang tingin ko hahaha!

    ingat ingat! hugs!

  2. Afraid of needles? LOL! I am not afraid of needles but I still can’t look whenever a nurse sticks one on me, and I’d do anything to postpone it even for a few more seconds. πŸ™‚

So, hows the test results? Anyone need type AB donors? Unfortunately, I’m on the lean skinny-framed side, so I can’t offer any. πŸ™‚
