When it comes to comfortable footwear, I always have my trust on Crocs. I have traveled the world wearing Crocs for the very simple reason – I can walk a thousand miles with it!
These Crocs I got since 2008 – it already traveled to different cities.
Got posted in a few magazines and newspapers wearing this
I cannot let go of them, they are just LOVE!
Most of the time we need to choose between comfort and style, but with Crocs new Boat Shoe Line, we can have the best of both worlds!
Every year, Crocs gives us new designs to enjoy and since it’s summer, they just released their latest beach line collection. Admit it, Crocs has to be the world’s go-to comfort footwear brand. On their latest collection, Crocs announces their edgy takes on classic topsiders – they are not your typical boat shoes. They are made of comfort, sturdy materials and a few colorful designs to choose from.
Crocs Beach Line Collection.
Here are my notes. They are light and comfortable. Walking is a breeze and you wouldn’t feel any drag. The shoes are also designed with siped rubber sole for stronger grip and traction – works for me because I always slip involuntarily!
It’s really great to wear for a beach outing. I know I just came from a loooong weekend of summer fun in Boracay, but I can’t wait to greet the sea breeze again with these Hurache flip-flops!
I paired it with my favorite Marley headphones and Wonder Woman top from DC Malaysia
Comfort is power when it comes to footwear! And just to emphasize the importance of this, Crocs launches an online game called Run, Sailor, Run! Collect coins as you run, dodge obstacles and collect bonuses. The highest scorer wins an ll-expenses paid, 3-night trip to Singapore for two. But wait, it doesn’t end there. It will also send you to experience and board the Crocs yacht! The more friends play along with you, the higher the score, the higher the chances of winning the grand prize. Treats would also be given as consolation prizes!

It’s not every day you get to witness a very glamorous fashion show like the recent one I’ve witnessed – the Ipanema Urban Jungle Runway show! Perhaps it’s my passion with Dance that I got to appreciate this fashion show more. Production wise, it was very smooth. Thumbs up for the models/dancers, the costumes, the choreography and the staff behind the show.
Last May 8, 2012 world-renowned Brazilian flip-flop brand, IPANEMA took style animals to an unforgettable experience out in the wild when it transformed the Bonifacio High Street into a mystical urban jungle where IPANEMA’s sassy new collection was paraded.
The IPANEMA Urban Jungle Runway Show was a night of fun and true enchantment; a sheer moment to captivate the Metro’s style stars through fresh, animated pieces that capture that jovial spirit unique to the IPANEMA brand. True to the happy and exotic vibe of the beaches of Brazil the brand has been known for since it has established itself back in 1971, the IPANEMA designs featured a refreshingly distinct mix of bright colors adorning striking and bold prints as well as vibrant and unique design patterns.
What exactly unfolded during the roaring runway show? A jamboree of mystical animals which included
the playful and graceful dolphin;
the sleek and agile “Jacob” of the land: the wolf.
Also making his regal presence felt was the king of the jungle, lion with its powerful and intimidating stance.
Completing the fashion soiree was the vibrant and sophisticated peacock;
the soaring eagle with its potent sexual energy;
the meek and mild gazelle that represents those with laid back taste;
the sexy and imperial snake;
the eye-catching ostrich;
the zebra which dons its uniqueness in every possible way;
and the funny and quirky caterpillar, which transformed into a glamorous butterfly as its fellow animals strutted their way into the urban jungle, a place where there is boundless freedom to express one’s definitive flair and need for comfort. Indeed, it was a runway spectacle like no other.
The Urban Jungle Fashion Show is IPANEMA’s way of celebrating unique individuals who take on everyday determined to conquer the world and stand out. It’s a toast to go-getters who own their unique style and never compromise on getting what they truly desire.

On a lazy workday…
Long top from Funky Plum
Gray and white stripes from SM Dept store
Black leggings from F21
Sandals – Crocs
and pink handbag from Glambox!
When traveling, another essential tool on my list are closed shoes! But bringing some of my closed shoes with heels could be troublesome, bulky and walking around in a foreign place with heels could be a disaster.
My most effective solution – Foldable Ballet Flats.
Some destinations in tours would require closed shoes especially when you are going to museums and factories.
And since I’m only four feet eleven tall, I usually prefer wedges and heels to deceive people’s eyes that I’m taller. But when I’m traveling, I have no choice. I tried walking in 1-inch heels and 2 – it was hell for me walking around a foreign city. I swore after that I would never do that again. That’s why I’m so happy wearing my Uggs in Hong Kong because they’re very comfy, but it’s not always winter season.
Sometimes, my other alternative will be my Sanuks – they’re good for walking around! I’ve tested them when I traveled Singapore and Malaysia on a Cruise ship – but they’re too casual and I can’t use them when I need to look a little bit formal.
Well, I’m glad I have a new pair that I can use when I travel or work.
I know, I don’t look as tall as when I’m wearing heels – but the trick when people are taking photos of me with this is just to tip-toe 🙂 or point my feet so my legs look longer!
It does the trick doesn’t it?
The shoes came in handy with this packaging – a portable shoe bag.
Inside are unique shoes that won’t get wrinkled even if you fold it!
and the best thing is that it can fit in my purse too! This shall replace the slippers I bring to office.
I love this design coz it can work with almost any of my outfits.
Trying the shoes for the first time. It’s quite comfortable. Though I haven’t tried wearing it for a long time which I will when I’m out to travel again soon
and this is me playing in the playground…
sometimes I do my lifts here to gain strength for my pole dance… sometimes I even climb these bars 😛 but no can do with a skirt 😛
Till the next travel essentials xoxo,
Yosi Samra shoes

Yosi Samra is exclusively distributed by Green Tee Inc. at the following locations: GAS, Greenbelt 3 and Trinoma Mall.
Ladies dig men who know how to dress up! Unconsciously, attractiveness pulls being well-dressed in its equation. I think it works for both sexes anyway.
And hey! It’s Christmas season and it’s time for big corporate parties and huge family reunions!
I often blog about many things girly that a whole lot of women can relate, but I’ve noticed that I have a relative number of men visiting my site as well ^_^ Thank you gentlemen!
So I was thinking of putting up a few posts for the guys from time to time.
For now, I’ll give you guys some ideas for that one accessory you might be taking for granted – shoes! I don’t know why, but I just happen to notice most of the guys I date drop by this place when we happen to be in the mall. I’m happy to go by their side as they choose for their shoes ‘coz hey, I’d love that they ask me for my opinion like I matter that much to their buying decision. *wink*
I’ll hook you up with more awesome stuff but for now, here are new cool stuff from Traffic’s new Collection.
I personally like the new Riley and Elk! Drop by any of Traffic Footwear’s branches to check them out yourself!
The Philippine Azkals 🙂
Penshoppe relaunched their very first store at SM North EDSA with it, they had a new store look and lots of new designs including shoes and accessories that I love!
Back in the fitting room, it’s time to try out some clothes!
Loving the new designs!
I LOVE this maxi dress! It’s perfect here in the Philippines.
It’s a CHEAT! I look tall in the picture (left)
Another CHEAT, you can transform it into a bubly mini dress!
Flower patterns always makes you bloom, and yellow flatters the skin 🙂
I love this sexy top, chill but classy

My last travel was in Hong Kong last February and I feel like I haven’t traveled in ages. I know, I know I’m a travelholic and a shopaholic. I usually travel at least every two months (locally or internationally) and right now, I’ve been dying to do that.
I got excited knowing that PAL is offering Unlimited travel for a fee of USD 270. With this I can already travel to whatever Asian country that I want within 7 weeks (or until December 31, 2011 whicherver comes first) and with whatever I can afford because I still need to pay for surcharges.
And yes, I can go to Singapore, Hong Kong, Macau, Taipei, Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh, Jakarta, Beijing and Shanghai – all I want and as many times as I want. It also includes unlimited local travels to Cebu and Davao! So, if within the next few weeks you are just dying to hop on to that travel / shopping spree then the Fly Asia Pass is for you. Details of PAL’s Fly Asia Pass are all here and their FAQ page for your questions.
And the best part is – mileage accural applies! So, with the travels I have in mind, I probably would have another free travel due to the many miles I am about to accumulate! Sweet deal!
When I travel I look for shopping and adventure! It’s perfect timing because I haven’t booked my Formula 1 Singapore trip yet. And oh my long awaited Bangkok trip to get me some clothes and tailored outfits and a great bargain has been postponed over time.
My plan is to get my shopping and adventure in place so that I can take full advantage of my PAL Fly Asia Pass 🙂
My Shopping Adventure Itinerary
I love shopping for clothes, shoes and bags outside the Philippines because they spice up my fashion style. And yes, I also support Filipino designs and collections but it’s always nice to have a mix of both worlds! There are a lot of cute outfits, weird but fun accessories and make-up essentials that are not available here in the Philippines. You will often find me oogling at Vivi magazine (Japanese magazine) to check out latest trends and fashion ideas 🙂 And yes, I often buy Vivi magazine everytime I’m in Singapore or Hong Kong because they don’t sell it here in the Philippines.
First, it is very important to know my first travel because this will be the start of my 7 weeks unlimited travel.
My 7 weeks: Sep 23 – Nov 10
September 23 because I am planning to watch the Formula 1 in Singapore AGAIN! That will be my 4th time. Cheap rates have also been very available to everyone but they go on limited dates. With Fly Asia Pass, I can pick whatever date I want, even peak dates, as long as there’s still available seat.
Enough teasing and let me show you my itinerary!
September 23 – 26, 2011
Manila – Singapore – Manila
It’s Singapore Grand Prix Season! This time Singapore is buzzing with fun and adventure. Also, it is the only time I have to shop for Formula 1 merchandise! If you are into motor sports like me and you want to buy authentic Ferrari merchandise (or whatever your team is), like official jackets, caps and T-shirts then Singapore is the place to be!
It’s a great joy to shop in Singapore especially if you want to buy beauty products that are not sold here in Manila. Also, luxurious brands are left and right with hundreds of malls in Singapore. Get those Guccis and Pradas at a cheaper price and a bonus – shop in Singapore Tax Free!
Kampong Glam & Arab Street, Bugis, Geylang Serai, Marina Bay, Orchard Road, Little India, North Bridge Road, Raffles Place Riverside are must-visits. The Riverside area by River Valley Road houses the newest and oldest shops in Singapore. Raffles Place and Shenton Way are crowded shopping areas for a variety of stuff. Also look out for unique arts, antiques, handicrafts and carpets.
Partying is part of my plan! I am planning to contact my friends in Singapore (Singaporean and Filipinos) and hang out in Zouk or Powerplant or whatever is new in Singapore! Besides, Formula 1 grounds have different parties going on too 🙂
Also, if I have time – I might take Pole dancing classes at Bobbi’s Pole studio! I’m also off to buy some shirts they pole dancing shorts, sports bras and shirts there 🙂
September 30 – October 2, 2011
Manila – Davao – Manila
My body is craving for a tan and so I’m planning to stay overnight in one of the nice beaches in Davao. And of course, I need some beach shopping – batik and malong shopping! Did you know that you can use malong as an emergency dressing room when you need one? When I discovered this, I knew I had to do some malong shopping! And sadly, not even Boracay has variety of malongs for sale.
Pretty neat wardrobe emergency tip right? You can find malongs, handicrafts and other native dresses at Aldevinco Shopping Center.
October 7 – 9, 2011
Manila – Bangkok – Manila
Probably the best and most popular shopping location in Asia for a good reason – super affordable shopping with good quality. With a variety of clothes, shoes, bags, accessories and jewelry to tailor-fit suits, I think Bankok is the ultimate shopping haven!
My boyfriend had most of his suits made here in Bangkok – tailor fit for a very reasonable shocking price with great quality.
If you’re dropping by Bangkok, don’t forget to pass by Rama I road, Ploenchit road, Ratchadamri road, Siam Square area. This area have generally a large number of shopping centers – 1 day or even 2 days isn’t enough for you to go around. But still, the shopping experience is definitely fun! You will enjoy bargaining and getting clothes and accessories at really low prices.
If you are into gadgets, shop your digital heart out at Pantip Plaza. I might need a new DSLR since I broke it 🙁
October 14 – 17, 2011
Manila – Singapore – Kuala Lumpur via coach – Singapore -Manila
*at KLCC where I always stop by to get some Godiva Dark Chocolate Chocolixir
Since there are no direct flights to KL, I will fly to Singapore instead. Going to KL is hassle-free if you take an express coach straight from Lavender Street Bus Station in Singapore to KL Transnational Express coaches departing from Lavender bus station in Singapore at 8:30 am, 10am, 12nn, 1:30pm, 3pm, 5pm, 8pm and 11pm. It costs only about SGD38.
If you are on a super budget trip, you can travel from Singapore to Larkin Station in Johor Bahru first and then get a ticket to KL which costs around SGD 10 or RM 20.
What to do in KL – visit my awesome Malaysian friends and food trip!
I am here to shop for herbs and spices! The first time my Malaysian friends took me to Klang, I fell in love with Bah Kut Teh – a soup made of Pork, vegetables and herbs. They sell Bah Kut Teh mixes and some tea and herbs that I can find in Malaysia particularly my favorite Chrisanthemum flower tea.
Also on October, KL will have a Photography Festival in Mid Valley. Photography is one of the fun hobbies I undertake and the entrance for this is free at Mid Valley Exhibition Center.
KL also has night markets or “pasar malam.” where you can find hawkers selling local stuff, food items, clothing and many more. Around October / November, the shopping carnival also holds an annuwal sale. Some of the more popular shopping areas are Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman, Jalan Ampang, Jalan Cheng Lock, Petaling Street, China town and Central Market.
I stayed in the area of Petaling Street once and it was a convenient place to sleep, eat and shop! – Gadgets, clothes, shoes, makeup and accessories – name it all, you can find it here 🙂
And of course, if I have time again – I’d visit one of the Pole Dancing studios, buy a few pole dancing gears they have (I’m kinda making it my collection) and take pole dance lessons there as well!
October 27, 2011
Manila – Cebu – Manila
My very first Business Class trip via PAL was from Manila to Cebu. I wished the trip lasted longer! I was enjoying the airplane food and the comfy seats too much!
I will travel to Cebu and back for a day because I can with PAL’s Fly Pass! It’s me and my boyfriends’ birithday and we just want to celebrate it by eating the famous Cebu lechon at lunch and have dessert at La Merea!
Of course, shop for pasalubong at Tabo-an where they have danggit (dried fish yummy!), dried mangoes, otap and mangorin!
November 4 – 7, 2011
Manila – Hong Kong – Manila
H&M, Uniqlo, Citygate Outlet, Tsim Sha Tsui, Sasa, Bonjour and Ladies Market!
Indeed Hong Kong is the ultimate shopping haven for fashionable people. I mean, everyone here in Hong Kongs is always dressed up! Boots, colorful neon shirts, the hairstyles!
*that green bag is full of items I just shopped! yes, I bring my own shopping bag – stay GREEN everyone! Besides, stores here (even 7/11) will charge you HKD 0.50 for plastic bag!
I booked Hong Kong trip the last because I was waiting for Winter. Well, it’s not as cold yet, but cold enough again to enjoy the Hong Kong chill! Shopping is a breeze at this time because it’s not rainy, and it’s not hot and humid. It’s not too cold either so the weather is just right to shop away!
To me, this is the No. 1 shopping center in Asia! From luxurious items to very cheap bargains – it’s here!
I often go to Hong Kong to shop for costumes and wigs! Yes wigs go from P500 – P800 if you know how to bargain! It’s perfect for cosplay and for halloween costumes 🙂
I am also planning to take Pole, Robe, Hoop and Silk classes at Aerial Arts Academy in Hong Kong!
When in Hong Kong, visit the Ladies’ Market or Parallel streets named Li Yuen Street East and Li Yuen where I get my costumes and wigs. Mong Kok area also has a lot of beauty and makeup stores 🙂 Tsim Sha Tsui for your digital needs, and City Gate outlet for branded products at cheaper prices 🙂
This is just a temporary itinerary. But, I must finalize it within 2 weeks after my purchase of the Fly Asia Pass. I’m still determined to go on that shopping and adventure spree! How about you guys? What’s your itinerary? 🙂
Earlier, I blogged about how Pole Dancing has helped me get over Quarter Life Crisis. I will do whatever it takes to keep dancing from now on 🙂 There are many things you I need to improve with my body for a long lasting pole career and that would have to be working on my flexibility, getting stronger and more toned legs so that I can grip the pole better. These things I have to work on will surely give me more health benifits as well!
I noticed the teachers in our Pole Class better known as the Polecats wear these FitFlops… I’ve heard a great deal about them helping people avoid back aches and toning your legs… A gym within a shoe (or sandals)
And so I bought my very own pair!!! WEEE EXCITED!!!
FitFlop footwear is biomechanically engineered to help tone and tighten your leg muscles while you walk in them. Studies at the Centre for Human Performance at LSBU show that normal walking in FitFlop sandals* can help:
- help increase leg and bottom muscle activity (up to 30%). (so you feel less ache in your hips and knees)
- absorb more shock than a normal shoe (up to 22%)
- help realign ground force reaction closer to your joints
to wear this so I can tone my muscles.. so that I can do more awesome Pole tricks!
When I travel, I don’t want to risk getting uncomfortable – especially my feet because you get to walk a lot when you’re traveling. So far, I’ve had Crocs, Uggs and now a new addition to my travel collection – Sanuks!
They are not shoes! They are sandals! I haven’t road tested it yet, but we’ll see soon!
I have a new baby!!!
Presenting, my new Michael Antonio shoes!
I have been searching for a gnarly white pair of shoes but I haven’t found the one for me. I have always been a fan of Michael Antonio and as I was shopping around Resorts World, I passed by Michael Antonio which had a sale of up to 50% off. This sale is only ’till the end of February. So head on to any branch of theirs to check out some items on sale.
The sale is only until the end of February 2011!
What attracted my attention though are these white Leno Michael Antonio shoes. It was on the “New Arrivals” rack, therefore, no sale. But still, the price was not bad for the quality and the design of the shoe and ka-ching-kaching I bought it! I got it for P3,200 not bad for these awesome pair!
oh, and the saleslady said that Anne Curtis bought the red one of this!
More Photos of other cool shoes I found around the Michael Antonio shop:
I love Japanese fashion and I always appreciate how they express themselves freely when it comes to dressing up. I went to Hong Kong just to grab myself a copy of Vivi Magazine where it is also being published. For those of you who don’t know what Vivi magazine is, it is a Japanese fashion magazine published in Japan, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Thailand only. Target audience is college students and young office ladies.
Even if I don’t understand the Japanese or Chinese text on the magazine, I still enjoy the hip fashion all through out the pages. And of course, I got a little bit disoriented reading the magazine from right to left @_@
These are just a few of the many pages of fashion and Japanese love. It is autumn there now so you’ll see lots of fur, socks and boots.
and makeup tutorials
I know I will be bored at Hong Kong International Airport while waiting for boarding so I bought other magazines too!
Vivi Magazine HKD $30
Absolutely love this fashion magazine! You don’t need to understand Japanese much. Well, I hope they have one in English
Marie Claire HKD $35
The main magazine was thich and it had another magazine with it that focused on Gift Ideas. Mostly luxury gift ideas like jewelry, perfumes and watches @_@ They were all in chinese too @_@ so I just looked at the product shots. The magazine came with a FREE purse! It looks simple and nice – something that I can definitely use.
Cosmopolitan HKD $40
The Cosmo magazine included 3 magazines inside @_@ The main mag was super thick and they included Crab Tree products (hand lotion) I love crab tree stuff and was happy to have a freebie lol. Cosmo focused this time on Beauty Awards where they listed and ranked top and best make-up / beauty products out in the market I think our local issue has this too so be sure to check it out
I couldn’t appreciate the articles though because the test was all in Chinese.
TOTAL HKD $ 105 (charged my Credit card at Php 620.87)
So cheap for all these! with tons of freebies!!!
Anyway, it’s just nice to look at other country’s local magazines. ‘Till the next travel ^_^
Living in a tropical island like the Philippines, everyday fashion style is limited to wearing comfortable and breathable clothing. We don’t really wear boots on a casual sunny day. We don’t wear coats a lot because obviously you would look ridiculous wearing trench coats, stylish boots, colorful scarves and cute beret on a sunny weather all year long.
Not unless you are a blogger of course and you cam-whore a lot then you can do all the photo shoots all you want in your own house. Just don’t go outside looking like a Blair Waldorf in autumn though.
Another excuse to wear cute layers of clothing is if you go out of the country to a much cooler place. It’s autumn somewhere in the world and autumn fashion is in!!!
I will be going to Hong Kong last week of November and I heard it’s going to be cold around that time. I am trying to look for cute and comfy boots that I can use. The last time I was in Hong Kong, I swear my legs hurt because of the constant walking, shopping and sight seeing. I want my footwear to be really comfortable while I tour around.
I found this beauty online and I am planning to buy this!!!
It’s a pink Tall Sand Whooga Ugg boots
I looked for fashion bloggers owning one and I found Sequin Magazin‘s cute photo.
You can also wear it high up ^_^
I’ve been to Victoria Peak in Hong Kong at night and it’s really cold there even in summer. I would need these to warm my feet like no other. Whooga Ugg boots are constructed 100% merino fleece (ThermoFleece)
Win Whooga Ugg boots
Whooga UK is running a giveaway to everyone that signs up to their newsletter. All you have to do is to go to their website here and subscribe to their newsletter! They draw boots for the winners at the end of each month and it’s open to everyone in all countries If you can’t wait to get one on your own and you don’t want to wait for the raffle draw (like me), you can use the coupon code 791FLAIR.
Happy online shopping everyone!
It’s getting cold everywhere <3
Before I went to Cebu for a business trip, I had to choose one pair of shoes…
My Choices are (take a deep breath):
I know right??? So hard to choose because ALL of them look NICE!!! I love how the shoes are designed classy and elegant yet very stylish as well. I love the heels!!! They look super sexy don’t they… the heels look tall and elegant yet they give a sturdy support when you use them…
Love the pumps and the open sandals ^_^
But wait… there’s more!!!
Now this set shows Michael Antonio’s wedge shoes design… They are very fun to look at, I’m pretty sure they’d be more fun when worn!
Also, in this set are some boots and shooties/booties!
I dig the one on the lower left most part 😀 The shooties’ design is very basic and general that I think I can wear them for anything like even with my office clothes or party outfit!
With this set, you’d see more pumps and wedgies 🙂 If only I can try all of them on and take a picture wearing all these ^_^ As I see the collection, my wardrobe collection also flashes in mind, thinking which clothes would look fun to match with these 😀
Haha… yes but with this set, I kept my eyes on the “doll” pumps… 3rd row, column 4… Isn’t it pretty, sexy, and innocent at the same time?
More set… and these shoes are more of the pairs you take out for partying!
In this collection you see that Michael Antonio also some flats on their collection…
*all of the shoes above are available at their SM Annex store in SM City North Edsa. They have the widest collection of shoes there but they also have stores in Greenbelt 5 Anthem and Rockwell.
WHERE WAS I???
I was supposed to only pick ONE… and with the very cool design, I wanted to have almost all LOL
And so I asked help from my plurk friends 😀
Thanks to Nate for suggesting that I choose the Kiley Pumps.
It comes in Both Black and Red colors.
Some package arrived at my doorstep when I arrived from my Cebu trip…
cute packaging with the pink and black contrast
it smelled so new…
HO HO HO!!! Pinch me!!! It’s here!!!
I’ve been wearing the Michael Antonio Kiley Pumps to events lately and I have been receiving compliments ^_^
