2012 Planners!

Are you the type who uses digital planners instead of the old fashioned Pen and Paper?

I tried to attempt using digital planners since I have my phone with me ALWAYS! But I’m old fashioned and I stick with pen and paper. How about you? Let me know what you prefer and why…

Happy Holidays people!!! I love that my blog is freezing – in a good way! It’s snowing!!!

Google is putting FUN in different holidays!

I am such a kid!!! I’m so excited with the little gifts I receive everyday! And just this morning, I discovered that when I type “Let it Snow” on Google, something cool appears!

Stomp Live in Manila at CCP and Tips in Watching

I am so surprised that we were seated at a box. Great view! I forgot my glasses though.

I am watching the premiere showing of Stomp LIVE here in Manila CCP. The show hasn’t started yety but I will post another review of their show which should run for 1 hr and 40 minutes!

TIP:
Don’t be late! You will miss the grand entrance and they will let you in only after 10 mins.

Turn your phones off! This will jam their sound and lighting system. Enjoy the show instead!

Don’t bring your digital cameras and SLRs unless you are an official photographer. If you do so, you would have to deposit them outside.

Unboxing HTC ChaCha

I’ve been loving my HTC ChaCha! I think I was one of the first few people to *own* it because I won it through Smart-HTC launch!

It’s an amazing phone and I thought it is priced really high because of the touch screen and the qwerty physical keyboard! But, you can get it at P15,500 and you can it for free through a Smart P1000 plan!

Things I do with my HTC Chacha:

- update my social media with that Facebook button that’s very convenient. They didn’t tag this phone as the “Facebook phone” for nothing

- broadcast / lifecast via justin.tv with HTC as my mobile camera. I live streamed myself while packing before my flight to Singapore and surprisingly I had like 43 views constant. Recorded live stream link.

- use it as a portable Wi-Fi hotspot. Using Smart unlimited data plan, I can surf unlimited within the day at p50

- alternate camera when I forget my main camera!

- Chat! IM and everything else! I can do everything as long as I am also subscribed to a data plan. In my case I use Smart.

- blog through WordPress app for android

- surf the net, use Google maps, check email etc!

- play poker and other games

So far, the only down side is the low internal memory storage at 150mb only. If you have thousands of contacts synced through Google and Facebook like me, then the 150mb might get full just because of that.

But don’t worry, the memory is still expandable and it already has a 2GB external memory installed when you buy it!

So far, my experience with HTC ChaCha has been a happy one!

It’s fast, convenient and it looks fab! I love holding it in public… then people would come to me and be like “Is that the HTC ChaCha?”

I guess this phone is a crowd magnet!

KL Tower – Menara Kuala Lumpur

I’ve been to Malaysia a few times, but I’ve never gone up either the KL Tower or the Petronas Towers.

But alas, on our day trip to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia I finally experienced it!

This is the KL Tower or the Menara Kuala Lumpur

Malay vocubulary 101:

Menara means Tower

The KL Tower is used mainly for communication purposes. this is currently the second tallest freestanding tower in the world.

You can climb the tower via stairs – or use the high speed elevators to come up. I advice the elevators, no doubt about that

Apart from this tower being used for communication purposes, it has also been a tourist attraction.

And, one of the tourists is me. Got this nice view of the Petronas Towers!

Above the tower is a 360 degrees observation deck with powerful telescopes.

Our tour guide was kind enough to show me how to take photos of what can be seen in the telescope. And here are the pictures I took using my digital camera:

for this picture, I forgot to turn the flash off. But hey, accident’s cause better art at times and I love the result!

What you see here is the Petronas tower’s topmost part.

The queue wasn’t long when we were there and I suggest you to visit this tower if you’re in Malaysia. Compared to KLCC tower, I heard you need to queue at 6am. Entrance there is free but you need to line up and wait for the openeing because visitor’s entry is limited.

Fly to Singapore and Sail on a Cruise Ship to Malaysia

This trip was part of AirPhil Express’ Fly and Sail adventour package. We only had a day trip in Malaysia but I think it was about enough time to go around the major landmarks. What I like about sailing is that I need not pack my bags to go to another country because I can leave my things in the ship. No hotel transfers or whatever.
