Royal Cliff Hotel Pattaya, View from our Room – Flair Travels

I had a really hectic year in 2014, especially during the Christmas season. I booked all my holidays on 2015. I just realized, I went to 4 countries for the first time! All thanks to my partner airline Philippine Airlines. Not all trips are sponsored, especially this one. But having comfort and peace of mind in mind (sounds redundant), I have decided to always book PAL by choice.

This trip was impromptu, and I booked my flight to Thailand in less than a month’s time for 13,500. I purchased the seat next to the exit too for legroom teehee. If you can afford comfort, especially for long flights, might as well do it. Traveling could also be stressful and you don’t want to be stressed thousands of meters above the sky!

A highschool (and college) friend of mine works for a 5-star hotel in Thailand and they invited me to go over and experience Royal Cliff Hotels.

Can’t say no to having a vacation, especially to a country I’ve never been to.

I have compiled a video of our first day in Pattaya Thailand and have decided to just feature the view from our room at Royal Cliff Beach Hotel. I have seen the pictures but I did not expect it to be this wonderful!

Our flight was early in the morning and we arrived in Bangkok at 1pm. We were picked up by the hotel’s limo and we drove an hour to Pattaya. This is another discussion but I would like to mention the big difference in Thailand’s infrastructure compared to ours. Their roads are wide (you can see in the video), and there is no traffic jam. The streets are clean too!

When we arrive, the friendly staff greeted us with drinks and friendly smiles. The moment they said “Hi” to us, I knew instantly they’re my kababayan. It’s fun to know there are lots of Filipino employees here, I felt at home in this foreign country.

Royal Cliff Hotels Group has four luxury 5-star hotels. Royal Cliff Beach Hotel, Royal Cliff Beach Terrace, Royal Cliff Grand Hotel, and Royal Wing Suites and Spa.

We stayed at Royal Cliff Beach Hotel, but we walked around all four. Great view in all four hotels depending on your preference. I enjoyed the infinity pool overlooking the Gulf of Thailand!

I was so amazed at how big the resort compound is! I was reading through the in-room magazines and read that the compound has 64 acres of private ocean view parkland.

Our room was a Grand Sea View type. The bedroom is finished with wooden floors and the spacious marbled bathroom comes with a separate walk-in rain shower and double washbasins. The view from our sea facing balcony is amazing! We have a great view of the Gulf of Thailand.

I have also rebranded Flair Candy’s tagline. From “Retired CPA…”, I now advocate The Good Life. And you can get this kind of good life at around as Php 5,000 or USD 100. It’s really worth it! The view, the facilities, the many options, not to mention the romantic scenery and the awesome food they serve, I would recommend this to friends and family. I might go back here with my family too and share with them this paradise.
